Editing
Editing is a crucial step that shapes the energy, clarity, and punch of a rock or metal track. Unless of course you want a more “live” type of feel, then you wouldn’t need much, mainly just fixing any obvious mistakes during tracking.

Drums:
Tighten hits, align kick-snare timing, and adjust toms for a punchy, machine-like groove when needed. -
Bass and guitars:
Lock in groove with precise timing and sustain shaping to sit firmly in the mix.

Vocals:
Edit phrases for intelligibility, remove breaths or distractions, and preserve emotion. -
Transitions:
Sculpt clean build-ups, tempo changes, and drop-ins to maintain energy flow.
Editing ranges from $50 to $150AU depending on complexity and how long I expect it to take.
